Job Overview The Senior Software Engineer – aiR for Review designs, builds, and operates the next generation of generative AI‑driven, cloud‑native web applications that are transforming our business and industry. This role combines deep technical expertise with a collaborative mindset to solve complex challenges, mentor peers, and deliver secure, scalable, and high‑performance solutions on Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and operate secure, maintainable, and scalable web applications using object‑oriented principles, modern architecture, and cloud‑native patterns.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship, driving design decisions, elevating engineering practices, and enabling delivery of reliable, high‑quality software.

Champion automated testing, static analysis, observability, and DevOps workflows to ensure performance and reliability.

Deliver solutions across front‑end (modern JavaScript frameworks) and back‑end (distributed, service‑oriented systems).

Use microservices, containers, and managed Azure services (.NET, Cosmos DB, SQL Server, App Services, Docker) to deliver scalable cloud platforms.

Adopt AI‑assisted coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate development, reduce boilerplate, and focus on solving business‑critical problems.

Drive team success through pair programming, thoughtful code reviews, shared design sessions, and high‑quality documentation.

Coach engineers on secure coding, cloud‑native design, and troubleshooting distributed systems with modern observability practices.

Qualifications

7+ years of professional experience building commercial‑grade software and cloud‑native applications.

Hands‑on experience with Azure Cloud services, Docker, .NET, JavaScript, Cosmos DB, and SQL Server.

Deep knowledge of object‑oriented design, distributed services, and Microsoft Azure technologies.

Proven ability to deliver solutions in dynamic, fast‑paced environments.

Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Bonus Points

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Strong full‑stack expertise across front‑end, back‑end, and cloud infrastructure tiers.

Proven productivity boost from AI‑assisted coding tools.

Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long‑term incentives. The expected salary range for this role is $126,000–$190,000. The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity.
