Position: Seafood Production Associate – Full-Time + Weekly Pay Location: 5600 1st Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11220 (Pierless Fish Facility) Base pay range: $16.50/hr - $16.50/hr About Baldor

The
Seafood Production Associate
is responsible for preparing, processing, cutting, and packaging seafood products safely and accurately. This role takes place in a
cold and wet refrigerated production environment
and requires someone who is comfortable with hands‑on, physical work. Training is provided, but prior experience handling seafood is a plus. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Sort, inspect, and prepare various types of seafood to meet quality and customer specifications. Weigh, portion, and label products accurately for distribution. Assist with filleting, pin‑boning, cutting, trimming, and cleaning seafood (training provided if needed). Package finished products and place items in bins, totes, and designated storage areas (including freezers). Ensure proper food safety practices are followed at all times, including cleanliness and sanitation. Maintain a clean workstation and assist with cleaning production equipment and tools. Load and unload seafood product during deliveries as needed. Work in a refrigerated and wet environment for the duration of the shift. Qualifications
Prior seafood or food processing experience preferred, but not required — training provided. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly. Comfortable working in refrigerated conditions (cold, wet environment). Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Able to follow written and verbal instructions clearly. What We Offer
