The Head of Content Marketing is a senior leadership role that will define, build, and scale Citi Wealth’s global content marketing agenda. This leader will own the full content ecosystem— ensuring Citi Wealth leads the industry in how content drives client engagement and business growth. A core mandate of this role is to put Citi Wealth at the forefront of AI-powered content creation, personalization and performance optimization, setting a new benchmark for the industry.
Key Responsibilities Field & Advisor Client Enablement
Deliver a complete suite of marketing content, materials and playbooks to empower Citi’s advisors and bankers across all segments and regions (Citigold, Citi Private Client, Citi Private Bank, Wealth at Work).
Build AI‑driven workflows to generate, customise and distribute compliant, client‑ready content at scale.
Partner closely with the field to ensure content meets client needs, drives adoption and differentiates Citi Wealth’s advisory experience.
Brand & Market Amplification
Drive editorial and storytelling excellence, highlighting Citi’s differentiators in Investments, CIO insights, product innovation and digital capabilities.
Amplify executive thought leadership, flagship events and signature campaigns to global UHNW and HNW audiences.
Lead Citi Wealth’s external content presence, in partnership with ESPA, across social channels, positioning the brand as the advisor of choice for the world’s changemakers.
AI, Martech & Performance
Architect and own the content marketing technology stack, integrating AI and automation to transform how Citi creates, personalises and measures content.
Establish a content performance framework with KPIs that link content investment to business outcomes (engagement, leads, share of wallet, brand equity).
Continuously test, optimise and innovate—ensuring Citi leads the market in intelligent content delivery.
Leadership & Influence
Build and inspire a high‑performing global team of content strategists, creators and technologists.
Collaborate across Marketing, Investments, Product, Digital and Communications to ensure end‑to‑end integration.
Represent Content Marketing at the senior‑most levels, influencing strategy and demonstrating the impact of content as a growth driver.
Qualifications
15+ years in content marketing, communications or editorial leadership with a proven track record in financial services or related industries.
Demonstrated success in both sales enablement content and large‑scale external content campaigns.
Expertise in social, digital and multi‑channel content distribution.
Advanced knowledge of AI and martech applications for content creation, distribution and measurement.
Exceptional leadership, collaboration and communication skills within a global matrix organisation.
Education Bachelor’s or university degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
