Role Summary As Director of Product Management, Cybersecurity, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution of our cybersecurity portfolio. You will guide the development of differentiated products and managed services such as Zero Trust, DDoS mitigation, MDR, IAM, NAC, EDR/XDR, CSPM, and cloud-native defense.
Your mission is to drive innovation and profitable growth by building compelling offerings that strengthen our role as a trusted partner in enterprise digital transformation. You will combine deep market insight, technical expertise, a focus on digital customer experience, and financial discipline to scale solutions that meet the evolving demands of enterprise security leaders.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Define and own the cybersecurity product and managed services roadmap, aligned with GTT’s Envision strategy and enterprise customer needs.
Identify opportunities in AI/ML-driven security, Zero Trust architectures, and cloud-native defense, and network security to ensure competitive differentiation.
Translate regulatory and technology trends (e.g., DORA, NIS2) into actionable strategies that drive adoption.
Build and scale managed security service offerings that address customer requirements for resiliency, compliance, and advanced threat defense.
Lead the full product lifecycle: from business case, product development through launch, pricing, adoption, and ongoing lifecycle management.
Oversee pricing, packaging, and go-to-market alignment to maximize portfolio growth.
Integrate digital customer experience as a core element of new product design, ensuring intuitive interfaces, measurable outcomes, and seamless customer interactions.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Solutions Architects, Engineering, and Service Delivery to ensure operational readiness, market readiness, and successful execution.
Develop strong, data-driven business cases that clearly demonstrate market opportunity, ROI, and financial viability to secure company investment.
Own P&L accountability for the cybersecurity portfolio and manage to revenue, margin, and growth targets.
Apply financial acumen to portfolio decisions, balancing innovation with disciplined investment.
Customer Focus
Engage directly with enterprise clients, CISOs, and industry analysts to capture insights and validate direction.
Ensure offerings address customer pain points around visibility, resilience, and compliance, while driving adoption through a product-led growth approach.
Champion a product-led growth mindset to accelerate adoption and usage.
Team & Influence
Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and results.
Build and manage vendor partnerships and service creation with key security technology providers.
Represent GTT at conferences, analyst briefings, and industry forums as a thought leader.
Required Experience/Qualifications
BS/ MS degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration with a technology focus, Data Science/AI); MBA preferred.
8+ years in product management with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven success building cybersecurity products and managed services (e.g., MDR, threat intelligence, DDoS, IAM, NAC, EDR/XDR, DLP, CSPM, container security) with hands‑on experience across cloud, networking, and AI/ML‑powered enterprise platforms.
Strong understanding of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and its application in enterprise security strategy.
Strong financial acumen, with a track record of building business cases to secure executive investment and drive portfolio growth.
Vendor and partner management expertise, with success forging strategic alliances.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a collaborative leadership style and the ability to influence stakeholders up to the C‑suite.
Demonstrated ability to lead in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments.
