Accounts Receivable Specialist Job Description
This role provides support to the Accounts Receivable team by investigating and applying incoming payments, as well as performing various credit and accounting‑related tasks. Responsibilities
Accurately process cash applications in a timely manner. Investigate unidentified and unapplied cash receipts to ensure proper allocation. Respond to inquiries related to Accounts Receivable from internal teams such as billing and collections. Manage and resolve service tickets using ServiceNow. Support activities involving write‑offs, payment reversals, and reallocations. Collaborate closely with the Collections team to apply pending and unallocated payments. Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed. Essential Skills
Proficiency in accounts receivable and cash application. Experience using ServiceNow. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and 10‑key. At least 2 years of AR experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Legal AR experience is strongly preferred. Work Environment
This is a remote position with standard working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM EST. Candidates must be located in or near one of the following cities: Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Miami, Northern Virginia, Philadelphia, Raleigh, Reston, Short Hills, Washington DC, or Wilmington. This is a Permanent position based out of Tampa, FL. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $56,160.00 - $67,870.00 per year. Benefits include medical, vision, dental (effective from start date), PTO after 90 days (15 days PTO and increases over time), 10 holidays, 8 sick days. Merit increases during review, bonuses contingent on company and individual performance. Workplace Type
