General Manager
This position is for a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is the employer, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is responsible for all employment matters at the restaurant, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald’s USA has no involvement in employment decisions and will not receive a copy of your application.
Responsibilities
Run a profitable restaurant and ensure it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Set restaurant goals and create a plan to achieve them in partnership with leadership. Lead a team of Assistant Managers, providing coaching, direction, and performance feedback. Hire, develop, and retain Assistant and Shift Managers to build a strong future leadership team. Collaborate with leadership to maintain high operational standards and customer satisfaction. Qualifications
Previous General Manager experience running high‑volume quick‑service locations. Strong background in hospitality, retail, or related industry. Minimum age 18 years (or the age required for manager roles in the corporate‑owned restaurants). Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
