Overview Compensation: $120,000 - $180,000 based on experience and credentials

Location Type: Hybrid, a flexible work model blending in-office and remote working

Position Type: Full Time

The Director of Product Enablement is responsible for advancing Product Strategy and Operations through effective communication, operational alignment, and innovative analysis of the organization’s core financial products. This strategic role serves as a bridge between product analysis & strategy, operations, marketing, risk, and frontline teams to ensure core products are communicated, operationally supported, and governed through consistent rules and processes.

Responsibilities

Support the Product Strategy & Payment Operations teams in developing core strategies throughout product life cycles, from identifying opportunities for new products and features to product retirement

Serve as a key project team stakeholder, coordinating operational readiness and member impact planning for product rollouts, including communications

Create and maintain processes for Product Enablement, including consistent internal and external messaging, and communication delivery

Build and maintain competitive landscape analyses, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting on the existing Product suite

Partner with Project Management, Risk, Compliance, Technology, Marketing, and Member Experience for the development of enablement materials and external communications

Serve as an organizational point of contact for core product strategy & payment operations, including communication and governance

Develop enablement materials for frontline staff and public-facing channels, including FAQs, job aids, and training content. Lead internal, external, and executive management communications related to core product features and changes

Manage consistent and accurate product access across all delivery channels and internal systems

Build and lead a team to support enablement and analysis activities

Maintain knowledge and understanding of current trends, laws, and issues affecting the area of expertise

Attend educational events to increase professional knowledge

Complete annual compliance and info security training to understand employees’ role in maintaining effective compliance and security programs

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, finance, or related field; Master’s preferred

Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial services, product operations, or product management

Proven track record of managing product communications and lifecycle operations in a fast‑paced environment

Advanced understanding of deposit and lending product structures, policies, and compliance needs, digital and/or payment experience is a plus

Excellent collaboration skills across business, risk, tech, and marketing functions

Ability to develop frameworks and tools for product governance and enablement at scale

Ability to prioritize tasks by effectively managing competing and changing priorities to meet deadlines

Accurate, detail‑oriented, and organized with task management

Ability to analyze and resolve difficult and often complex problems or situations

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with members, staff, vendors, and government regulators

Strong knowledge and understanding of credit union products, services, policies, and procedures

Strong knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance

Strong knowledge and understanding of credit union computer systems and software applications required to perform job duties
