What You'll Do
Lead and consult with financial professionals to help build their skills and grow their practice throughout the territory.
Attract and develop top‑tier talent to the team and foster an intentional culture.
Develop a profitable business center by attracting, training, motivating and retaining advisors.
Achieve specified goals in recruiting and retention of advisors, production, persistency, business conduct, and expense management in accordance with business center and company key objectives.
Earn a heavy incentive component in addition to the listed salary.

Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree or eight years of equivalent experience.
4+ years of related work experience, including sales and management.
Recruiting of experienced financial advisors, strongly preferred.
Broad knowledge of sales techniques and regulations governing insurance and securities sales.
Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
Ability to recruit, select, train, lead, manage, and supervise a diverse group of producers to meet business center goals.
Ability to develop and maintain community relations.
Desired designations: CLU/ChFC, CFP, or CLF.
Some travel required, including overnight stays (up to 15%).
Licenses and Exams Needed
Resident state Life/Health and Variable Annuity license; non-resident state licenses in all non-resident states where business will be conducted.
Series 7 and 63 or equivalent, plus 24, 65 and/or 66 as required by applicable state law to become an IAR with Principal Securities, Inc.'s RIA.
Refer to Principal Financial Network Licensing/Exam Policy for the timeline to obtain required licenses and pass exams.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt) $82,900 – $147,600 per year
Time Off Program Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried employees. There is no fixed accrual; employees may take pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness as needed.
