Seeking an accomplished Director of Sales Engineering to lead technical sales strategy, partner enablement, and solution delivery for a global AI-powered SaaS leader in cloud governance and optimization. This leadership role is integral to driving customer acquisition, expanding strategic partnerships, and enabling enterprise clients to achieve cost efficiency, compliance, and security across multi-cloud environments. Key Responsibilities
Partner with Sales and Development Managers to drive solution selling and strategic account growth. Deliver persuasive product demonstrations and presentations to executive-level audiences at events, webinars, and briefings. Co-develop deal strategies and technical roadmaps to support enterprise client acquisition. Build ROI models and financial justifications for partner-specific business cases. Identify partner needs and align SaaS-based cloud governance solutions to address them effectively. Lead technical responses for RFPs/RFIs, ensuring accurate and timely proposal delivery. Collaborate with Customer Success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and transition of accounts. Capture and relay field insights to Product and Marketing teams to influence GTM strategy. Gather competitive intelligence to guide product positioning and sales enablement efforts. Must-Have Qualifications
Sales Engineering Leadership: Minimum 15 years experience in technical sales or sales engineering leadership roles within Cloud SaaS, Infrastructure, or Governance environments. Technical Cloud Expertise: Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP, including automation, orchestration, CI/CD, and scripting capabilities. Strategic Partnership Management: Proven success in building and maintaining relationships with Partner Development Managers and enterprise executives. Exceptional Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation abilities for executive-level engagement and solution positioning. Education: Bachelors degree preferred (technical or business discipline). Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Demonstrated experience developing ROI models and financial business cases for enterprise-level deals. Deep understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001). Prior experience in a product-focused SaaS organization specializing in cloud optimization, governance, or security. Perks & Benefits
