This is a unique opportunity to help build the next generation of candy. You will be at the leadership table and play an integral role of defining and shaping the future of Hormbles Chormbles as we continue our nationwide launch.

Brand Manager

is the champion of our brand — ensuring everything we do is unmistakably on-brand. This person will play a key leadership role in shaping our marketing function to support rapid growth. Core responsibilities include driving mass awareness, expanding household penetration, and growing in-store velocities.

Brand & Campaign Execution:

Build and support the planning, briefing, and execution of marketing campaigns across retail and digital channels, from concept through hindsight.

Write clear creative briefs and partner closely with cross-functional teams (Creative, Ecomm, Sales) to ensure assets align with strategy and brand tone.

Lead execution of key seasonal or promotional campaigns (e.g., product launches, tentpole retail moments, holiday initiatives).

Manage timelines, deliverables, and coordination with external agencies and production partners.

Shopper & Retail Marketing:

Partner with the sales team to develop and execute shopper marketing programs that drive in-store awareness, trial, and conversion.

Manage retailer co-marketing programs, in-store signage, sampling, and digital retail media activations.

Track and analyze retail marketing performance to identify opportunities for improvement.

Brand Stewardship:

Ensure brand consistency across all channels and materials, partnering with internal teams to maintain visual and verbal brand integrity.

Contribute to the evolution of brand messaging and campaign storytelling based on consumer and category insights.

Stay informed on competitive activity, consumer trends, and cultural moments to inform creative and channel strategy.

Insights & Optimization:

Collaborate with the analytics and sales teams to assess campaign performance and shopper insights.

Report out key learnings, trends, and recommendations for future marketing activations.

Keep marketing calendars, documents, and campaign trackers organized and up to date.

Practicalities:

At least 3 years of Consumer experience, ideally within a CPG company and with exposure to shopper marketing.

This is a full-time role.

This role is based in Chicago - candidates must be located in or relocating to the Chicago area.

In-person collaboration is core to how we work; the team typically works at least 4 days per week from our Chicago office.
