University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College invites applicants for its Mathematics Adjunct faculty general pool of candidates. The position will be part‑time, teaching undergraduate courses in calculus and developmental mathematics. Classes may be day, evening, or online, but in‑person presence is required.
Job Overview Adjunct faculty must be able to teach mathematics courses ranging from developmental (pre‑college) level through calculus. Positions may be day, evening, or online, but faculty should be available to teach in‑person.
Essential Functions
On a part‑time basis, teach assigned undergraduate courses.
Use best practices to continually evaluate student coursework.
Engage in other ancillary activities in support of responsibilities.
Review and respond promptly to all university‑related and student communications.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Education A Master’s Degree (or higher) in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field; or at least 18 credit hours of graduate‑level coursework in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
Required Experience Previous teaching experience is required.
Additional Qualifications Considered
Knowledge of issues in math education and classroom technology.
Experience teaching in a college setting.
