Base pay range: $105,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr
Role Overview The Quality Manager is responsible for leading the quality assurance and control functions within a heavy machinery manufacturing environment. This role ensures that all products meet customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement across production processes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO and industry standards.
Oversee inspection, testing, and auditing processes for raw materials, components, and finished products.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for quality issues.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure quality standards are integrated throughout the manufacturing process.
Manage supplier quality programs and conduct vendor audits.
Prepare and analyze quality performance metrics; report findings to leadership.
Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance product reliability and reduce defects.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements related to quality processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of experience in quality management within heavy machinery or industrial equipment manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
Proven leadership skills and experience managing cross‑functional teams.
Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication abilities.
