Job Purpose The Account Executive serves as a strategic marketing consultant and trusted advisor to Autumn’s clients. This role goes beyond tactical execution—it’s about actively listening, understanding client business goals, and co-creating digital marketing strategies that drive sustainable growth and measurable ROI.

You will partner closely with clients to uncover their challenges and opportunities, translate their business objectives into actionable marketing strategies, and guide the Autumn team in delivering exceptional results. You’ll serve as both strategist and project leader, ensuring that every engagement aligns with the client’s vision, brand, and measurable outcomes.

This role requires a strong foundation in marketing strategy, digital channels, and client consulting. This role requires a balance of strategic vision and practical execution, leveraging analytical reasoning and structured problem-solving to guide client decisions. You will help shape the “why” behind the work, not just the “what” and “how,” with the opportunity to gradually take on higher-level consulting responsibilities.

Responsibilities Strategic Consulting & Client Partnership

Serve as a strategic advisor to clients—listening deeply, asking insightful questions, and identifying opportunities for growth through digital marketing.

Develop a clear understanding of each client’s business model, competitive landscape, and target audience to inform marketing strategy.

Lead strategic planning sessions with clients to define goals, success metrics, and marketing roadmaps.

Translate client objectives into integrated digital marketing strategies that align with Autumn’s proven process and deliver measurable ROI.

Use data-driven insights to anticipate client challenges, evaluate trade-offs, and recommend solutions that balance short-term wins with long-term growth.

Provide thought leadership and proactive recommendations to help clients adapt to market changes and emerging digital trends.

Relationship Management

Build and nurture trusted, long-term relationships with clients based on transparency, expertise, and results.

Act as the client’s advocate within Autumn—ensuring their needs are understood, prioritized, and met with excellence.

Adapt communication style to client needs while maintaining professional boundaries, ensuring recommendations are both actionable and aligned with client objectives.

Communicate effectively and consistently with clients, providing strategic updates, performance insights, and actionable next steps.

Serve as the project leader, coordinating internal teams (SEO, paid media, content, design, and development) to execute strategies seamlessly.

Ensure all deliverables meet client expectations, are on time, and align with strategic objectives.

Own project outcomes while respecting the expertise and independence of internal teams, avoiding micromanagement and fostering collaboration.

Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing across the Autumn team to continually elevate the quality and impact of client work.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

Regularly review campaign performance data, interpret insights, and present strategic recommendations to clients.

Prioritize initiatives based on potential ROI, feasibility, and long-term client impact; ensure decisions are documented and communicated clearly.

Identify opportunities for optimization and new initiatives that drive improved ROI.

Stay current on digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to bring fresh ideas and innovative thinking to client engagements.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience with B2B marketing strategy, digital marketing, or marketing consulting (agency experience preferred).

Proven ability to develop and articulate marketing strategies that align with business objectives. Experience includes designing and executing digital marketing strategies with measurable ROI.

Strong consulting and communication skills—able to listen, analyze, and guide clients toward effective solutions.

Experience managing multiple client relationships and projects simultaneously.

Working knowledge of SEO, paid search, analytics, and content marketing.

Comfortable using digital tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, and project management systems.

A growth mindset—committed to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement.

Preferred 5 years’ experience working with logistics, manufacturing, or engineering at a regional or national scale.

Preferred applicant with previous experience as Project Consultant or Digital Strategist.
