The Performance Improvement Director develops, manages, and integrates a comprehensive Performance Improvement (PI) Program to achieve unprecedented results in quality, efficiency, safety, satisfaction, and value with transparency. Provide managerial oversight of the PI Program by developing and sharing best practices for improving performance in quality, safety, perception of care, value, and efficiency; create and maintain scorecards for all Service Lines with defined expected outcomes and benchmarks based on Quality, Safety, Satisfaction, and Value; complete Clinical Assessment, Diagnosis, and Treatment for the Service Lines. Coordinate and manage hospital‑wide performance improvement activities, including continued survey readiness; oversee publicly reported quality initiatives such as Core Measures and Patient Satisfaction; work collaboratively with Administration and Leadership; ensure execution and communication of PI and Patient Safety activities from the department level to the Board of Trustees. Manage the PI Program activities by creating collaborative customer relationships; plan group processes; sustain a participatory environment; guide the group to appropriate and useful outcomes; build and maintain professional knowledge; employ evidence‑based practice; integrate best research with expertise and patient values for optimal care; work in interdisciplinary teams; apply performance improvement methodologies to minimize waste, reduce errors, increase efficiency, and improve care; and utilize informatics to communicate and manage knowledge with clinical expertise and patient values. Preferred experience: facilitating team processes, hospital accreditation standards, survey process, local regulatory standards, and OSHA regulations. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a health‑care related field required, plus 4 years of work experience in a health‑care related field, including 1 year in performance improvement. Master’s Degree with 3 years of work experience, including 1 year in performance improvement, preferred. Good computer skills. Experience reviewing charts for quality care issues; detail‑oriented organizational skills; ability to handle multiple cases, directions, and follow‑through. Strong verbal and written communication skills; experience with Medical Staff communication. Coordination of internal departments and external entities to ensure compliance with company policies, and state/federal regulatory and accreditation standards. Certification in Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Healthcare Accreditation highly desirable. Pay Transparency
