Position Overview We are seeking a highly experienced
Tax Manager
to lead and support corporate tax operations across federal, state, and international jurisdictions. This role is responsible for managing tax provisions, filings, audits, and compliance documentation, with a strong emphasis on ASC 740 and SOX 404 requirements. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams and with external advisors.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare quarterly and annual U.S. (federal and state) and international tax provisions, including ASC 740 disclosures
Coordinate with external auditors during tax provision audits
Oversee preparation and review of federal, state, and international income tax returns
Manage tax return calendar, extensions, and estimated payments
Support R&D credit calculations in collaboration with external advisors
Resolve tax notices and lead audit closures
Maintain tax compliance processes and documentation in accordance with SOX 404
Conduct tax research and monitor legislative and regulatory changes
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation
CPA and/or Master of Taxation (MST) strongly preferred
5–7 years of experience in a multi-state corporate or public accounting environment with SEC reporting exposure
Strong expertise in ASC 740, including treatment of stock‑based compensation and uncertain tax positions
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with LongView is a plus
Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Extensive experience managing year‑end tax provisions
