Software Integration Engineer Freedom Technology Solutions Group, LLC is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to support the Government Corporate Management Services mission by sustaining, modernizing, and transforming critical enterprise corporate applications used across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Integrate and maintain five COTS products (TeamMate+, Power BI, CMTS, and others).

Perform quarterly updates and upgrades for each product.

Support new installations and ongoing maintenance efforts.

Manage products of varying maturity levels—some with well-defined installation processes and others requiring documentation creation or updates.

Oversee and maintain certificates and multiple development environments (x3).

Automate installation processes to improve efficiency and consistency.

Conduct basic System Administration tasks and collaborate with the Cloud Operations Team for more complex system activities.

Diagnose and troubleshoot integration issues, determining whether they stem from vendor bugs or configuration errors.

Utilize Windows tools and work within Windows EC2 instances in a C2S environment.

Manage and query Microsoft SQL databases.

Work with scripting languages (e.g., Python or other that meet security requirements) to streamline operations and automation.

Potentially operate within Linux or use command-line tools within Windows environments.

Understand both the development and operational aspects of product integration.

Desired Skills & Experience

Hands‑on experience with software installation, configuration, and automation.

Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments.

Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to identify root causes of integration issues.

Ability to create or refine process documentation for repeatable success.

Experience collaborating with cloud or infrastructure teams.

Required Qualifications

TS/SCI with Polygraph.

A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and six (6) years' experience as an SIE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Ten (10) years' SIE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Experience with agile development methodologies.

Willingness to learn and develop strong understanding of new technologies and products.

Experience developing and updating technical documentation including project schedules.

Knowledge of scripting languages.

Experience developing and executing tests to validate the installation, integration, and configuration of COTS/GOTS software.

Experience developing software tool plugins in the language in which the tools are written.

Experience with basic system administration skills in cloud hosting platforms.

Estimated Salary Range:

$150,000 - $205,000 (annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package. Actual salaries are influenced by several factors, such as location, the individual's education, skills, experience, and competencies, as well as contract affordability and organizational needs.
