Texas Eye and Cataract (TEC) is seeking an experienced, patient-centered
Optometrist
to join our Waxahachie location — the original hub of our thriving ophthalmology and surgical care network. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to collaborate directly with leading cataract and refractive surgeons while providing comprehensive eye care in a high-quality, team-based environment.
As the clinical anchor for Waxahachie, you’ll manage pre- and post-operative care, perform full-scope optometry, and participate in specialty clinics including dry eye, myopia management, and contact lens fittings. You’ll be supported by an integrated staff trained in the latest workflows.

What You’ll Do:
Conduct comprehensive eye exams and manage ocular disease.
Perform pre- and post-operative assessments for cataract and refractive procedures.
Collaborate closely with ophthalmologists to optimize co-management processes.
Provide dry eye and contact lens specialty services.
Contribute to patient education, referrals, and overall care continuity.
Utilize modern diagnostic equipment and digital systems.
Engage in ongoing CE and training programs.

Ideal Candidate:
Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited institution.
Active Texas license.
