We are seeking a dedicated and experienced
Sr.
Electrical Controls Engineer
to join our engineering team. This position focuses on the design, programming, and integration of control systems for automated process equipment used across the semiconductor, water treatment and pharmaceutical industries. This is a
full-time, on-site
role offering stability, collaboration, and the opportunity to work on a variety of technically rewarding projects.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and document electrical control systems for automated process and manufacturing equipment.
Program PLCs (Allen Bradley, Omron) and design user-friendly HMI/GUI interfaces for equipment operation.
Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical.
Collaborate closely with mechanical and process engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
Support system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting in both in-house and field environments.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all applicable safety and quality standards.
Provide occasional on-site support and travel within the U.S. as needed for installation or system start-up.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design and controls engineering.
At least 3 years of hands-on PLC programming experience with Allen Bradley or Omron systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and ability to read and create detailed electrical schematics.
Familiarity with motion control programming and system integration.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Competency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Background in process automation or equipment design preferred.
