Veterinarian – Part‑Time or Full‑Time Columbus, OH | Groveport Canal Animal Hospital & Easton Animal Hospital

Role Description We are two independently owned small animal hospitals seeking a compassionate and motivated Veterinarian to join our team at Groveport Canal Animal Hospital and/or Easton Animal Hospital. This role can be part‑time or full‑time depending on your needs.

The position primarily involves seeing appointments, including wellness, preventative care, and sick/urgent care visits. Surgery is not required, but opportunities are available if desired. Schedules include some evening hours and occasional half‑day Saturdays. There is no on‑call or after‑hours requirement.

Services

Preventative medicine & wellness care

Sick/urgent care visits

General surgery & dentistry (with digital dental radiography)

Diagnostics: in‑house lab, reference lab, ultrasound, and digital radiography

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary college

Ohio veterinary license in good standing (or eligibility to obtain)

Strong communication and client education skills

Detail‑focused, with strong problem‑solving skills

Experience in small animal practice preferred, but mentorship is available for new graduates

Recent graduates and those completing their DVM in 2026 are encouraged to apply.
