Talent Acquisition Specialist at Compunnel Inc. - IT / Non IT / Healthcare

This role is within the Department of Human Services (DHS) Data Analytics team, supporting over 600 staff members by managing data to measure program success.

Key Projects

• Quality assurance dashboards to improve eligibility determination accuracy
• Real‑time, data‑rich organization charts
• TANF dashboard integrating multiple data sources
• Demographic caseload analysis to understand regional homelessness
• Dashboards for CYFS program monitoring to support family outcomes

Day‑to‑day Responsibilities

• Read, write, and query data from state‑run databases: Using Crystal, Toad, and state‑approved or in‑house scripts to extract hotline data and other program metrics.
• Transform data: Employ R Studio, Excel, and Power BI to reconcile current and historical data, automating repetitive tasks.
• Visualization / production: Build Power BI dashboards and deliver formatted datasets to managers, supervisors, and case workers.
• Automation: Script to automate daily/weekly reporting wherever possible.
• Ad‑hoc requests: Investigate database tables and write scripts to generate requested reports.
• Relationship building with SME: Collaborate with CYFS staff and case workers to ensure data accuracy.
• General support / miscellaneous: Provide technical support, analyze data patterns, and attend report‑building meetings with partners.
