Joining H&R Block as a seasonal Client Service Professional/Receptionist means you’ll focus on how to wow clients now and in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and/or in multiple locations.
- Experience in sales or marketing.
Responsibilities
- Answer phones and greet clients in a personalized, friendly, and inviting manner.
- Match clients with the best‑suited tax professional for their needs.
- Schedule clients how they would like to be scheduled.
- Help to ensure all client needs have been met during service both in person, over the phone, or virtually.
- Maintain office cleanliness and organize resources with team members.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Previous experience in a customer service environment.
- Ability to multi‑task.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Computer proficiency with the ability to use Microsoft Office.

Pay Range
$11.00 – $27.00 per hour. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions depend on job‑related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location. Successful candidates may participate in incentive compensation or short‑term incentive plans. Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage; participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, virtual fitness center programs, and the associate discount program; be automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive the Associate Tax Prep benefit.
