Seeking a certified Nurse Practitioner who is proficient with first assisting in CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy/ lung resection cases. Job duties include OR duties as well as telemetry and ICU duties. Call duties include 1-2 call days a week, one weekend a month beginning 7 am Friday - 7 am Monday. Weekend duties include inpatient rounds, procedures and surgery duties. Schedule/Availability Requirements: Schedule: 1-2 call days per week, one weekend a month, call is 7 am - 7 pm. Support for surgeons Reason for Coverage: Down a physician assistant and need help with coverage while we aggressively recruit for an additional FTE Deal breakers: no Ky state license, unable to do procedures, malpractice issues Air Travel: Preference for local Please detail any anticipated travel exceptions, for example a dietary restriction necessitating specific lodging situations.
