Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, focusing on inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe work environment. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse processes and the ability to operate various equipment safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and reach trucks for efficient materials handling.
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading shipments.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory movements.
• Execute order picking and packing duties accurately to fulfill customer orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to adhere to OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
• Assist in packaging products for shipment while adhering to quality control standards.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems such as AS400 is advantageous.
• Experience operating heavy equipment including forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks is required.
• Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety protocols (OSHA compliance).
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed throughout the workday.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for effective stocking and inventory management.
