WORK SCHEDULE
Per Diem
Day Shift
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS Under the general direction of the supervisor, the Mammography Technologist performs Screening and Diagnostic Mammography accurately, independently, and efficiently.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Provides advanced imaging and diagnostic services in North Seattle.
Equipped with advanced diagnostic imaging technology. Our radiologists are board-certified with specialty training in various imaging fields.
We prioritize explaining procedures to each patient to ensure they know what to expect.
Offers routine radiology, MRI, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and interventional radiology.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform assigned exams and procedures independently following protocols.
Produce acceptable radiographs, select proper technical factors, and review digital images for quality.
Assist Radiologists with requested information and problem-solving.
Conduct quality assurance checks on equipment and processes.
Report quality issues to the supervisor.
Help establish and update protocols.
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of formal technology training in an AMA-approved school, registration by ARRT or equivalent.
Certified by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist.
Registered by ARRT as a Mammography Technologist before completing probation.
