Trustpoint.One is pleased to partner with a well-established and respected intellectual property boutique law firm in its search for a Patent Prosecution Paralegal. This is a remote, full-time, direct hire role,
but the candidate must reside in Texas.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of patent prosecution paralegal experience. This is a great opportunity to join a growing IP boutique law firm that has a professional and collegial culture! Duties
Duties include but are not limited to: Assisting with the preparation, filing and prosecution of patent applications; Auditing and managing portfolios to ensure patent applications are in compliance through the patent prosecution process; Assisting internally in reviewing and analyzing documents; Conducting research; Drafting responses to office actions; Providing general administrative support to attorneys; Other duties as required to accomplish the patent prosecution process. Qualifications
In depth knowledge and understanding of the patent prosecution process Minimum 3-5 years patent prosecution experience, preferably in a law firm, in addition to extensive IP paralegal experience Ability to analyze documents generated from the USPTO and identify critical deadlines Ability to generate and edit reports in database Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects Strong attention to detail Strong organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills; team player Strong technical skills; formal technical training is a plus Salary: Starting at approximately $75K, commensurate with experience, but could go higher depending on experience.
