Direct Hire Recruiter at Choice Specialists A leading international law firm is seeking a Legal Secretary to support their Investment Funds practice in the Dallas office. This role offers a hybrid work schedule and the opportunity to work with a highly regarded team in a fast-paced, professional environment.
What You’ll Do
As a Legal Secretary, you’ll provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to attorneys and advisors, ensuring exceptional service and seamless day-to-day operations. Key responsibilities include:
Drafting, editing, and proofreading documents with accuracy and attention to detail
Managing attorney calendars, scheduling meetings and conference calls across time zones
Coordinating travel arrangements (domestic and international) and maintaining detailed itineraries
Handling client billing, time entry, and expense reports in partnership with the firm’s administrative teams
Organizing and maintaining case and client files in the document management system
Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, mail, and courier services
Proofreading and redlining documents for grammar, punctuation, and formatting
Conducting research and maintaining client databases and contact lists
Coordinating CLE requirements and assisting with document management and filings
Collaborating with internal departments and providing back-up support across the practice group
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 5 years of legal secretarial experience (Investment Funds or Corporate preferred)
High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with NetDocuments, Chrome River, InterAction, Intapp, Carpe Diem, or iTimekeep
Excellent grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities with keen attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional client service orientation and professional communication skills
