Base pay range $60,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr
Position Overview We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented
Mailroom and Office Services Assistant
to join our Office Services team. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth flow of mail, deliveries, and general office support operations. From handling shipping and receiving to assisting with office upkeep and production support, this is a hands‑on role that keeps things moving behind the scenes.
What You’ll Do Mailroom Operations
Sort and distribute incoming mail, packages, and newspapers
Process and log all outgoing shipments via FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, etc.
Handle international pouches and metered mail
Maintain mail carts and mail slots for organized distribution
Ensure timely and accurate handling of all deliveries
Office & Facilities Support
Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness in copy and mail areas
Respond to office service requests with professionalism and urgency
Assist with setup and breakdown of conference rooms and events
Provide backup support for production and maintenance teams
What You Bring Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
3–5 years in a mailroom or office services role (corporate environment preferred)
Strong understanding of domestic and international shipping procedures
Skills
Proficiency with mail processing equipment (meters, duplicators, binders)
Familiarity with shipping software and basic computer applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain a professional demeanor
Strong organizational and time management skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry packages up to
75 lbs
Comfortable standing, walking, and moving throughout the office for extended periods
