Overview
Position: Social Worker (Senior Behavioral Health Specialist) at Mercy Care Atlanta. You will provide compassionate, comprehensive behavioral health services under the guidance of the Coordinator of Behavioral Health Services, enhancing patient care through psychosocial assessments, therapy, and consultation. You will help improve psychosocial functioning and provide integrated care within an interdisciplinary team. Employment Type

Day Shift What You Will Do
Perform psychosocial assessments and create treatment plans. Provide counseling, therapy, and education to patients. Execute involuntary commitment orders and manage crisis situations. Offer face-to-face linkage and ongoing case management services. Collaborate with primary care teams to develop care management processes. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and community health events. Educate patients, families, and staff on behavioral health care and prevention. Provide clinical guidance and support to the behavioral health services team. Minimum Qualifications
Master\u2019s degree in human services or a related field with LAPC, LMSW, LPC, LMFT, or LCSW licensure. At least five years of experience in mental health/substance abuse recovery services. Proficiency in psychosocial assessments and documentation. Valid Georgia Driver’s License and reliable transportation. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary setting. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish strongly preferred. Position Highlights and Benefits
