Your efforts will bring the Aggie Network to life, helping students, alumni, and faculty stay connected in meaningful ways. You will directly support scholarships, emergency student aid, and faculty excellence and help shape the future of Aggies for years to come. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

Extensive travel. Excellent communication skills including public speaking. Relationship development and promotion of major gift opportunities. Create new and improve existing processes, protocols and volunteer training. Create programming to engage A&M Clubs worldwide and increase membership. Liaise between stakeholders for scheduling. Represent The Association of Former Students with professionalism. ROUTINE DUTIES

Collaborate with the Director of Former Student Programs and Manager of Club Programs to develop and execute strategies to enhance The Association’s engagement with all A&M Clubs worldwide. Serve as The Association’s primary liaison to all “Big 6” A&M Clubs (Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Capital City (Austin), San Antonio, and Brazos County and all A&M Clubs within a 100-mile vicinity of these Clubs), developing and maintaining strong relationships and being visible at their Club meetings, fundraisers and events. Participate in creation and delivery of in-person and virtual trainings for Club Presidents. Plan and execute the annual Coach’s Night Tour in conjunction with Athletics, 12th Man Foundation, local A&M Clubs and The Association’s Events team. Work closely with local A&M Clubs and President’s Office to plan and execute the annual President’s Night/Lunch events. Serve as The Association’s primary liaison to all Area Representatives, National Representatives and Representatives at Large and creates and delivers appropriate trainings for each. Working with Development and Fundraising staff, assist with cultivating and soliciting major and Annual Fund gifts. Other duties as assigned. EMPLOYEES OF THE ASSOCIATION OF FORMER STUDENTS

Participate in various Association-wide activities such as engagement and fundraising goals, internal event teams, task committees, attending gameday receptions, Distinguished Alumni Gala and other external events as required. Serve as an ambassador by meeting our Team Expectations, fostering relationships with students and other constituents of Texas A&M. Exemplify Our Core Values: Respect, Excellent, Leadership, Loyalty, Integrity, and Selfless Service. MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills including public speaking and proof reading. Professionalism, detail-orientation and organizational skills. Strong time management skills and previous experience with meeting fast-paced deadlines. Flexibility to multi-task. Experience with database access and spreadsheets. Exceptional organizational, planning and project management skills. Highly proficient skills in MS suite. Cross-generational communication and interpersonal skills that allow for developing strong, long-lasting relationships with current and former students of all generations. PHYSICAL CAPACITY REQUIREMENTS

Ability to sit or stand for long periods on occasion, including in vehicle or airplane. Ability to lift and carry objects up to 10 pounds. Ability to work at a desk with frequent use of keyboard and monitor. Required:

Bachelor’s degree or five years of experience in a similar position. Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University. EXPERIENCE

Required:

One to two years working with volunteer project management. Preferred:
