Position Summary
This position engages and interacts with educational institutions, foundations, members of state departments of education, and school and district administration to support the success of educational systems in Michigan. The Office of K-12 Outreach is seeking educational professionals with skill sets aligned to our partners' goals to support planning professional learning in areas such as instructional design, research-based best practices, school and district leadership, systems development, strategic planning, DEI, and state and federal initiatives. This role will help develop outreach proposals to expand programs offered by the Office of K-12 Outreach and develop and implement new initiatives focused on leadership development and capacity building to increase student achievement. Specialists must be highly skilled in using technology platforms for team collaboration. This position involves engaging with educational associations, foundations, members of state departments of education, and school and district administration to disseminate content and updates regarding programs implemented by the Office of K-12 Outreach. Develop outreach proposals to expand existing programs and implement new initiatives focused on leadership development and capacity building. Additional Information
