Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is seeking a Front Desk Clerk for Springhill Suites Bryce, UT. Job Purpose: Respond professionally and courteously to arriving, departing, and in-house guests by providing accurate and timely information and services. Handle reservations, guest concerns, and inquiries via phone and in person. Provide warm, knowledgeable service to ensure guest satisfaction. Greet and welcome guests; register them into the system, verify reservation details, and promote the guest loyalty program. Accept payments, maintain a house bank, and handle currency exchange and check cashing. Manage safety deposit boxes and post miscellaneous charges. Respond promptly to guest complaints and resolve issues effectively. Answer phones politely and handle reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently. Assist guests with luggage, provide local area information, and handle messages, wake-up calls, and mail. Support guest laundry needs and be aware of VIP arrivals. Follow all standard operating procedures and perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager. Maintain a professional, responsible, and positive attitude, and communicate effectively with all departments. Adhere to safety and security protocols, including key handling and emergency procedures. Promote hotel amenities, upsell rooms, and ensure accurate credit and billing procedures. Stay informed about hotel services, local attractions, and franchise honors programs. Qualifications and Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience with major hotel brands (Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, Hyatt) preferred. Skills Needed: Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking). Good communication and basic computer skills. Knowledge of hotel operations, local area, and attractions. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks. Additional Qualities: Passion for service and people.
