Job Summary As the

Safety Administrative Coordinator , you will play a key role in shaping and advancing the safety culture within our manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations, driving safety initiatives, and collaborating with team members at all levels to create a proactive and engaged safety mindset. You will lead efforts to identify potential hazards, implement corrective actions, and cultivate a workplace culture that prioritizes safety.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the submission of key reports, scheduling and tracking of information.

Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.

Promote and foster a culture of safety awareness through training, communication, and hands‑on engagement with employees.

Develop and deliver safety training programs, including orientation for new hires, refresher courses, and targeted training for specific areas of concern.

Collaborate with department heads, supervisors, and employees to integrate safety best practices into daily operations.

Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics, trends, and incidents, providing reports and recommendations to management.

Lead investigations into workplace accidents, near‑misses, and incidents, ensuring root cause analysis and preventive measures are in place.

Serve as a liaison with external regulatory agencies and contractors regarding safety compliance.

Stay current on industry safety trends, regulatory changes, and innovations to continuously improve safety standards.

Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the overall safety culture of the mill.

Qualifications

Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

OSHA 30 or equivalent preferred.

Demonstrated ability to drive safety culture changes and influence behavior at all levels of the organization.

Excellent communication, training, and presentation skills.

Ability to lead safety investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and safety management systems.

First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.

Highly energetic and ready to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Passion for safety and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.

Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
