About the Role Join a fast-growing, multi-discipline engineering environment delivering
HVAC, plumbing, piping, and fire protection
designs across commercial, institutional, industrial, and healthcare projects. As a
Licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer (PE) , you’ll lead system design, mentor junior staff, and coordinate closely with electrical, civil, and structural teammates to deliver high-quality, code-compliant solutions on schedule and within budget.
What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day)
Lead design/engineering for
HVAC, plumbing, piping, and fire protection
systems.
Perform
load calculations, energy modeling, and equipment selections .
Produce construction drawings, specs, and details in
AutoCAD/Revit (BIM) .
Conduct site visits, review submittals, and support construction administration.
Collaborate with multi-discipline teams for integrated MEP delivery.
Mentor
junior engineers/designers and perform QA/QC on deliverables.
Support client meetings, schedules, budgets, and light project management.
Must-Have Qualifications
Active PE (Mechanical) .
Deep knowledge of
HVAC, plumbing, piping, fire protection
design.
Proficiency with
AutoCAD
and
Revit/BIM .
Working knowledge of
ASHRAE, NFPA, and state/local mechanical codes .
Strong communication and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
Nice-to-Have (Pluses)
Exposure to
forensic/failure analysis
(plus, not required).
LEED
accreditation or sustainability/green-building experience.
Energy modeling (e.g.,
Trane TRACE ,
Carrier HAP ).
Field coordination / construction management experience.
Broad project type experience; client-facing presentation skills.
Schedule
Mon–Thu 7:30a–5:30p, Fri 7:30a–11:30a (flexible 4x10 option).
Work Authorization
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future; we are not initiating new visa sponsorship at this time.
