Posted Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 4:00 AM | Expires Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 3:59 AM The Salvation Army Athens Corps Rate of Pay: $18.00 an hour / 40 hours per week About this opportunity: Monitors assigned caseload of clients participating in a short-term life management program; establishes program plans/goals and evaluates clients' progress by conducting routine meetings; serves as an advocate to help clients access services to cope with their environment. Key Responsibilities: Interview applicants to determine eligibility; conduct needs assessments; establish program goals; refer ineligible applicants to other agencies. Develop intake and case plans; assist clients with paperwork; complete social histories weekly. Maintain accurate case records and logs; enter data into the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). Meet with clients regularly to evaluate progress; document meetings; enforce house guidelines and handle incident reports. Facilitate life management classes; coordinate with speakers and workshop presenters. Mentor clients; assist with housing; conduct home inspections; coordinate repairs as needed. Refer clients to other programs or agencies based on their needs. Prepare discharge plans; transfer files; follow-up with clients. Participate in community meetings; educate agencies about the program; maintain awareness of client progress. Maintain statistical records; compile monthly reports; ensure data accuracy. Record expenditures; ensure compliance with budgets; coordinate with finance staff. Process vouchers for food, clothing, furniture; direct clients to resources. Oversee shelter and housing monitors. Conduct facility tours for outside agencies. Assist in policy manual development and revision. Support community services and seasonal projects as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Two years of college coursework in Social Work, Behavioral Science, or related field. Two years' experience in social/public service environment. Equivalent training and experience acceptable. Valid State Driver's License.
