AS648 - Live-In Weekend Nanny - Upper East Side

Overview A busy and kind family on the Upper East Side is seeking a fantastic live-in weekend nanny for their 6 and 3-year-old sons. The coverage needed is from Friday 7pm through Sunday 7pm. There are twelve active working hours per day, and the nanny will have the baby monitor overnight on Friday and Saturday. The family spends the summer months in the Hamptons, and the nanny would be expected to join for their shift. This position starts as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

Care and engagement of the children during waking hours

Overseeing meal, hygiene, and bedtime routines

Initiating and participating in creative and age-appropriate activities at home

Planning and executing outings throughout the weekend

Basic healthy children's meal preparation

Maintaining boundaries and discipline in line with the parents' philosophies

Keeping children's spaces tidy and organized

Qualifications

Engaging and warm

Solid team player, as the family has a cohesive and established household team

Playful and energetic

Strong attention to detail and time management

Excellent communication skills

Requirements

US work authorization

Willing to stay up-to-date on vaccinations, including yearly flu vaccine and recommended Covid boosters

Able and willing to work in the Hamptons during the summer months

Swimming is required

Driving is not required but would be a plus

Salary and Benefits

$45/hr. for 24 active working hours

$200/night for on-call hours

$350 monthly insurance reimbursement
