Take charge of Family and Investigative Assessments, stepping in to make a real difference from day one. Be the go-to professional for a range of child welfare needs, including follow-up home visits, in-home services, and foster care cases. Safely and responsibly transport clients, ensuring their well-being. Prepare and deliver reports for court, documenting every contact and treatment plan with precision and clarity. Stand as a credible expert witness in court, presenting findings and testifying in hearings with professionalism. Engage with the public in challenging situations, motivating others and ensuring safety for all involved, including when handling differing views on laws, rules, or policies. Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited school (Child Welfare Collaborative) plus one year of social work experience, or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited school (Child Welfare Collaborative) with one year of social work or counseling experience, or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited school with two years of social work or counseling experience, or Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited school plus two years of social work or counseling experience, or Four-year degree in Human Services or a related field with three years of social work or counseling experience, or Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience in rehabilitation, pastoral counseling, or related human services with expertise in casework, group work, or community organization. A certified college transcript and letter of reference may be required upon request. Technology & License
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). A valid North Carolina driver’s license and a clean driving record aligned with Alamance County policies. Physical Demands
