The Front Office Supervisor will supervise all checklists, functions of the Front Office, and coach plus train clerks on specific responsibilities of each department. The incumbent maintains a high level of guest service in all areas of front office operations through training of new hires and communicating with the staff on duty as well as passing on pertinent information to fellow supervisors and managers. Works closely with the Sales and Conferencing Departments to maximize hotel occupancy and revenues by coordinating room blocking, pre‑registration, special requests, group arrivals and departures as well as group billing.
Responsibilities
Ensure all checklists are completed daily.
Delegate tasks to be completed by staff.
Supervise and coach clerks.
Teach new hires the reservation and Front Office overall processes.
Maintain clear and concise communication for procedures.
Enter and coordinate small group blocks and rooming lists.
Maintain a patient and accommodating attitude when interacting with guests and staff members.
Work unsupervised and handle challenging situations.
Be available for all shifts, including early mornings, days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Work in an office environment, with frequent sitting, hearing, listening, and talking; occasional repetitive hand motion, walking, bending, and reaching overhead.
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required. One year full‑time customer service experience or equivalency, demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required.

Schedule & Compensation Work Schedule Summary: Shifts: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm.

Pay Rate Range: $17.91–$17.91 per hour.
