Description Full-time social worker responsible for identifying social-emotional needs and providing individual and group services as outlined in IEP/504 plans. Responsibilities Attend induction academy for new teachers in August 2025. Complete assessments including academic, social, emotional, mental health, and family interactions. Participate in IEP/Eligibility meetings, providing relevant data. Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in compliance with laws and district policies. Collaborate on Functional Analyses and Behavioral Intervention Plans. Serve as a liaison with families, providing education and counseling as needed. Utilize community resources to support students. Offer individual and group counseling, including at-risk student groups. Conduct transition meetings for students new to the district. Monitor social-emotional data and provide interventions at Tier 2/Tier 3 levels. Implement programs addressing social-emotional concerns. Facilitate restorative practices and participate in RTI/problem-solving meetings. Support understanding of mental health and behavioral issues among staff. Maintain trauma-informed practices and participate in crisis teams. Provide crisis response for students in critical need. Complete necessary paperwork and assessments with families. Communicate with families and stakeholders about social-emotional health. Support district PBIS initiatives and maintain certification. Maintain accurate records and uphold school policies. Participate in staff workshops, meetings, and in-service training. Qualifications Illinois Licensure with School Social Worker endorsement. Application Process Apply online.
