Academic year to the end of the Spring semester
Job Summary Under the supervision of the Head Volleyball Coach or their designee, the Volleyball Assistant is responsible for assisting with all game day and practice activities and overall team management.
Assist coaching staff and athletic administration with team and facility management for game days and practices, including facility cleaning and equipment handling.
Prepare equipment for games and practices as assigned by the supervisor.
Assist with game day operations such as ticket handling, scoreboard operations, concession stands, and filming.
Perform office duties including copying and managing team materials.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or athletic administration.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma/GED
Enrollment in and maintenance of six (6) credit hours at Dodge City Community College.
Good academic standing.
Availability in the evenings and on weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
Dependable and responsible.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to follow detailed instructions.
General knowledge of athletics.
Self‑motivated.
Physical Qualifications
Ability to bend, stoop, jump, kneel, stand, walk, and be on your feet for 3 hours a day.
Ability to carry equipment needed to and from practice and games.
Ability to ambulate and navigate stairs and ramps throughout the campus complex.
