Departmental Analyst 9-P11 (E Level) Assists with liaison duties between the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and the Comprehensive Health Care Plan’s licensed Medicaid Health Plans and/or Healthy Kids Dental Plans and/or Healthy Kids Dental Plans contracted to provide health and dental care to Medicaid beneficiaries, which includes beneficiaries on Healthy Michigan Plan and CSHCS. Performs as communications liaison for DHHS regarding evaluation, oversight, reporting, and operational activities related to the Plans. Assists with the Plan contracts and participates in on‑site visits and site visit team responsibilities. Serves as contact person for providers, associations, local agencies, and inter‑ and intra‑departmental entities. Provides communication to the Plans by e‑mail, telephone, letter, on‑site visits, and/or meetings. Performs activities to assist the operational capabilities of the Plans as a Medicaid provider. Performs duties to maintain the integrity of the Medicaid program, provider contractual agreements and the provision of health and dental care to the Medicaid client.
E‑Level PD
Departmental Analyst 12 (A Level) Performs as the primary liaison between the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and the Comprehensive Health Care Plan’s licensed Medicaid Health Plans and/or Healthy Kids Dental Plans contracted to provide health care to Medicaid beneficiaries, which includes beneficiaries on Healthy Michigan Plan and CSHCS. Performs as communications liaison for DHHS regarding evaluation, oversight, reporting, and operational activities related to the Plans. Performs as contract manager of the Comprehensive Health Plan and Healthy Kids Dental contracts, which includes participating in on‑site visits and site visit team responsibilities. Serves as contact person for providers, associations, local agencies, and inter‑ and intra‑departmental entities. Provides communication to the Plans by e‑mail, telephone, letter, on‑site visits, and/or meetings. Serves as a liaison to facilitate and monitor the contract compliance of these and network health care providers. Serves as advocate in resolving any service problems that may occur. Performs activities to assist the operational capabilities of the Plans as a Medicaid provider. Performs duties to maintain the integrity of the Medicaid program, provider contractual agreements and the provision of health care to the Medicaid client.

Experience Departmental Analyst 9 No specific type or amount is required.
Departmental Analyst 10 One year of professional experience.
Departmental Analyst P11 Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.
Departmental Analyst 12 Three years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service.
The physical location of this position is 400 S Pine Street, Lansing, MI. Based on operational needs and within established limits, remote work and alternate or hybrid work schedule requests for this position may be considered.
Selected candidates who have been approved to work remotely and must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview. Employees will be provided computers to perform state work. Phones may also be provided for necessary communications. If working remotely, employees will be responsible for providing other components of a remote office at their own expense, including:
A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions.
A high‑speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
Suitable lighting, furniture, and utilities.
