Job Summary Responsible for clerical functions and administrative support of food service programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Answer telephones and direct inquiries professionally.

Maintain confidential personnel files.

Assist management staff with confidential employment and labor relations documents.

Assist with staffing, including covering short notices.

Build good working relationships with co‑workers, school personnel, administrators, and supervisors.

Maintain accurate records of students eligible for free and reduced‑priced lunches.

Enter weekly cash sales and meal counts using the computer.

Perform daily bank deposit reconciliations.

Process vendor invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and correct pricing.

Perform monthly vendor statement reconciliations.

Prepare monthly state claim forms for reimbursement.

Assist in preparation of end‑of‑month financial reports.

Attend in‑service and/or safety meetings as required.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment and perform job safely.

Perform other duties as assigned.
