Responsibilities The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. The role also includes collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries, picking up customer returns, and handling other customer service tasks as needed.

Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.

Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.

Keep vehicles clean and ready for operation, including performing daily inspections before driving.

Secure fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices, and monies collected at all times.

Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and complete return slips.

Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management.

Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately.

Ensure the fuel tank is filled and the vehicle is locked and secured at the end of the day.

Clock in/out according to company policy.

Perform additional duties such as customer service, sweeping, stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, and setting up stock orders.

Assist customers, serve as cashier, and help with merchandising tasks when business dictates.

Qualifications

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.

Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Adaptability to changing delivery situations.

Driving record must meet the company’s 14/18‑point system and comply with state driver's license requirements.

Legally required state driver's license and must meet company mandated driving eligibility.

Desired Skills

Familiarity with automotive parts.

Ability to operate other light store equipment.

Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
