As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for performing well-defined inspection activities, auditing, problem solving, defining procedures and resolving quality related issues. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Read engineering drawings and specifications.

Production and/or torque test assembled actuators.

Inspection of machined parts, verifying the accuracy to engineering drawings using calibrated inspection devices.

Operate a coordinate measuring machine.

Calibration of inspection devices (micrometers, thread gages, depth gages, dial calipers etc).

Perform the following types of tests on raw materials or machine parts: verify the material hardness, conduct spring testing as required on qualified equipment, non-destructive testing (dye penetrant, ultrasonic, and magnetic particle).

Assist the Quality Group Leader in the training of other departmental employees.

For This Role, You Will Need:

High School diploma or equivalent

Two to five years of inspection experience in a mechanical manufacturing environment required

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

Understand the quality management system per ISO 9001-2015

Ability to program a CMM

Ability to run a CMM
