Floor Technician (Part Time)
ESFM® USA, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Part‑Time Floor Technician to support facility upkeep at our Medtronic clinic, Medford, CT.
Location:
60 Middletown Avenue, North Haven, CT 06473 (on‑site with online application only).
Schedule:
Monday‑Friday, 6:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. (Part time).
Pay:
$20.00 per hour.
Job Summary:
Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment.
Maintain knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and use proper procedures on floor care including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment and utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
Other duties as assigned by manager.
Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
