Your Opportunity The Electromechanical Commodity Manager II is a visible and impactful sourcing team leader. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams within and outside the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) to build and execute category strategies that reduce the total cost of ownership for Wire Harnesses, Batteries, Sensors, Switches, and related components. Your work will support operational excellence and sustainability goals, strengthen supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement.

Work Location
Primary locations: Bloomington, MN (Corporate HQ) or Ditch Witch Division HQ in Perry, OK. Fully remote is not offered.
Team work schedule: 3 days on campus, 2 days remote.
Travel: 10%–20% (domestic and international) with expense reporting duties.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, execute, and lead cost‑reduction strategies to lower TCO through cross‑functional collaboration and supplier negotiations.
Maintain and present category strategy to executive leadership.
Coordinate supply agreements, Long Term Agreements, Warranty Agreements, and collaborative partnerships.
Serve as internal SME on supplier capabilities, technologies, market conditions, and business risk.
Manage supplier performance using metrics such as OTD, supplier report cards, and QN.
Lead cost negotiations, payment term discussions, and contract implementation with strategic suppliers.
Handle more variable, complex categories.
Track, report, and reconcile all material price variants to ISC and Finance leadership.
Build strong relationships with internal and external customers across category functions.
Support escalation processes with suppliers and TTC manufacturing facilities.
Develop and execute lean strategies aligned with TTC Operational Excellence and Sustainability through Kanban, VMI, stocking agreements, etc.
Lead TTC Digital Transformation objectives.
Support parts procurement processes within TTC’s MRP/ERP system.
Formulate and execute category strategy while leading category team performance.
Present confidently to all organization levels.
Troubleshoot complex issues as they arise.
Develop, lead, and support intradepartmental process improvement projects.
Leverage negotiation expertise to influence outcomes.
What Do You Need?
Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Engineering).
10+ years of sourcing experience or equivalent education.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all stakeholder levels.
Self‑motivated, able to work under pressure, prioritize multiple objectives, and meet deadlines.
Proven ability to analyze situations and standardize process improvements.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and MRP/ERP experience.
Composure in rapidly changing situations.
Independent work capability within a collaborative environment.
Understanding of manufacturing processes, cost drivers, and market dynamics for assigned commodities.
Preferred
Experience in electromechanical or related category portfolio.
Supply Chain Management certification or related credential.
Prior SAP experience.
