About The Role: The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing and directing the activities of assigned production departments to manufacture quality product on time and at requisite cost. This role also promotes development and growth of employees within assigned departments.

What You’ll Do Directly responsible for the safety of department personnel, enforcing safety policies and procedures, ensuring proper PPE is worn, communicating monthly safety topics, promptly completing accident or near-miss reports, and ensuring LOTO procedures are followed.

Collaborate with other supervisors to maximize total manufacturing output rather than focusing on a single department.

Participate in development and tracking of departmental budgets; assist in preparation of annual department manufacturing expense budgets.

Prepare manpower plans to meet production objectives.

Work with internal professionals to develop programs for departmental safety, quality, and environmental concerns.

Provide assistance to engineering to ensure timely completion of process improvement projects.

Manage departmental resources to meet objectives of cost, quality, and schedule.

Crosstrain departmental employees and provide outside training opportunities to support growth within the company.

Provide continuous employee communication through pre-shift and post-shift meetings and ensure timely distribution of company communications.

Ensure all employees follow policies, procedures, and work instructions including Employee Handbook, SOPs, MOPs, JSAs, and Safety Manual; maintain awareness of contribution to quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies.

What You’ll Bring Associates degree in business or related field plus a minimum of 5 years’ experience; or 10 years’ successful supervisor experience in a directly related, multi-shift operation.

Ability to prioritize tasks, assign personnel across multiple shifts, and monitor for timely and cost-effective completion.

Strong understanding of production processes and equipment to direct production personnel.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to lead others.

Proficiency with database entry and computer applications including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams).
