Plumbing:

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in campus buildings. Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems. Plan, install, and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, equipment, and controls for water, waste, gases, or hot liquids. Perform work in accordance with all relevant building codes, installation requirements, and legislation. Other Duties:

Develop and perform preventative maintenance schedules for systems as scheduled. Backup other maintenance personnel to respond to emergency calls as designated by the Facilities Manager. Use power and hand tools, meters, and other measuring equipment associated with trades. Responsible for snow shoveling, plowing, and other equipment operations on a rotating schedule, including weekends and other hours not regularly scheduled. Schedule:

Full-time hourly position, 40 hours a week from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a half-hour meal break, year-round. Must be available for all school events, including Parents Weekend, Reunion Weekend, and Commencement. Full benefits included. Employee will work a weekend duty on a rotating schedule, including being on call via cell phone from Friday 3:30 p.m. to Monday 7:00 a.m., responding to all calls as required. Requirements: Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED. Any combination of education, training, and experience. New Hampshire State licenses: plumbing, gas fitting. Knowledge of plumbing layout and installation, relevant building codes; HVAC knowledge and experience preferred. Basic knowledge of electrical, carpentry, glass replacement, painting, masonry, groundskeeping, and appliance repair; standard practices and tools used in building maintenance; safety practices; basic math skills. Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and digital). Responsible, adaptable, and courteous to colleagues and students. Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed. Valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance required. Physical requirements include prolonged stationary work, campus mobility, ladder use, and repairs in confined spaces. Capable of handling tools, detecting odors, visually inspecting components, and working in various weather conditions, heights, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
