As a Service Advisor, you’ll be part of a nationwide team servicing 20,000 cars a day and building customer loyalty that spans generations. You’ll use communication skills and automotive knowledge to uncover selling opportunities and help keep drivers safe in their vehicles. The Service Advisor acts as the go-between for Service Technicians and customers, explaining the technicians’ recommendations in easy-to-understand language and identifying up-sell opportunities to maintain vehicle safety. Responsibilities
Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers to ensure a great service experience Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and the targeted customer satisfaction index Greet customers when they arrive and determine vehicle needs based on information, vehicle walk-arounds, inspections, and test drives Use a consultative selling process to help customers plan ongoing required maintenance Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates and full transparency Communicate with technicians and parts associates to ensure timely completion of work Provide status updates to customers and follow up to ensure satisfaction Gain product knowledge to effectively assist customers and deliver an exceptional experience Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience Ability to set and achieve targeted goals Prior sales experience preferred but not required Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Willingness to follow up with customers Experience and comfort with technology Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record Compensation and Benefits
