Certified Lead Petroleum Equipment Service Technician – Pacific Northwest

With deep roots in the Pacific Northwest, this contractor specializes in the design, construction, and maintenance of fleet fueling facilities, aviation fueling systems, retail gas stations, convenience stores, and marinas. They are seeking a Certified Lead Service Technician to join their team.
Position Overview We’re looking for a skilled and certified Lead Petroleum Equipment Service Technician to support fueling systems across retail and commercial facilities. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Gilbarco, Veeder-Root, and Verifone RUBY systems and is capable of leading service work on a wide range of UST/AST system components.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair fueling equipment, including dispensers, pumps, POS consoles, controllers, tank monitoring systems, and leak detection equipment
Maintain lighting, valves, piping, and other electro-mechanical systems associated with fuel handling
Complete service orders promptly and accurately
Provide excellent on-site customer support
Serve in a lead technician capacity on complex service jobs
Participate in rotating on-call schedule
What You Bring
Minimum 3 Years Of Experience In Petroleum Equipment Service
Current industry certifications (Gilbarco, Veeder-Root, etc.) strongly preferred
Clean driving record
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and customer service ability
Self-starter with a positive, team-oriented mindset
Willingness to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Ability to lead and mentor junior techs on service jobs
Location: Pacific Northwest – travel required within regional service area
