to join our procurement team.

Position Overview

Reporting to the

Production Control Manager , the Buyer manages make‑to‑print procurement, ensuring timely, cost‑effective purchases to support manufacturing operations.

What You’ll Do

Interpret 2D engineering drawings (mainly Solid Edge) to purchase fabricated, machined, coated, and outsourced parts.

Vet new vendors, solicit multiple quotes per schedule of authority, and maintain strong supplier relationships.

Review requisitions, issue purchase orders, and track status to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Partner closely with engineering, production control, and manufacturing to align material needs with project schedules.

Resolve supply issues quickly, expedite as needed, and seek cost‑efficient procurement solutions.

Maintain vendor files, monitor deliveries, and process returns or replacements for non‑conforming materials.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field, OR 2–4 years of applicable manufacturing procurement experience.

Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings for accurate make‑to‑print ordering.

Comfortable working within ERP systems to manage purchasing activity.

Strong math, analytical, and detail‑oriented skills.

Clear, professional communication with suppliers and internal teams.

Self‑starter with a sense of urgency in a fast‑paced, changing environment.

Nice to Have

Certifications in supply chain or procurement (CSCP, CPIM, ISM).

Experience with MS Dynamics 365.
